Mangaluru: The National Service Scheme (NSS) and Youth Red Cross (YRC) of Yenepoya Naturopathy and Yogic Science College & Hospital (YNYSCH), Naringana, organized a self-defense training programme at the college on Wednesday. Mr. Karthik S. Kateel, Founder of Swaraksha For Women Trust (R), Kateel, conducted the training and demonstrated practical self-defense techniques. He also highlighted the importance of personal safety, self-confidence and awareness in handling challenging situations.
Principal Dr. Puneeth Raghavendra K R guided the programme. NSS Programme Officer Dr. Ajith K and YRC Programme Officer Dr. Pratheeksha coordinated the event. Students actively participated in the training programme. The organizers expressed their gratitude to the resource person, college management, faculty members, NSS and YRC volunteers, and students for their support and participation.
