SDM College, Ujire || Inaugural Ceremony of ‘ Students Activity Fora’

“ Leadership is not limited to those who are standing on the stage …every one of you is capable of
becoming a leader. The first and foremost quality of a leader is to be approachable and open- minded to
everyones ideas. Learn to delegate your work rather than doing everything yourself. Remember, you
are not here to impress, but to inspire.” enunciated Saujanya Hegde, Councillor of JCI India.
She was speaking on the occasion of the Inaugural Ceremony of ‘ Students Activity Fora ’ organised by
the Student Council of SDM College, Ujire in Indraprastha Auditorium. The elected representatives of
the Council collectively took oaths to give their best service to the college as leaders of their respective
classes.
She further said “ The education system is the same as before; the crow still has to drink water from an
empty pot. But the students are more intelligent and have shifted from hard work to smart work . Hence
the present crows use straws to draw the water rather than stones ! Remember, it is important to first
finish your education, then ardently pursue your passion in life. By being elected as a leader, you have
proved to be true to your oath. ”
