St. Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) is delighted to announce the remarkable achievement of Mr. Nikhil A. Poojary, a second-year student of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML), who brought laurels to the institution at the WFFYS Indian National Yogasana Sports Championship 2026.
The championship was held at COER University, Roorkee, Haridwar, from 26–28 June 2026, attracting talented Yogasana athletes from across the country. Mr. Nikhil delivered an exceptional performance, securing First Place in the Artistic Solo Yoga Championship and Sixth Place in the Traditional Yoga Championship.
His outstanding performance has earned him selection to represent India at the International Yoga Championship, which is scheduled to be held in Thailand in September 2026. The Management, Principal, faculty, staff, and students of SJEC congratulate Mr. Nikhil A. Poojary on this remarkable achievement and wish him continued success as he prepares to represent the nation on the international stage.
